Currently in the process of selling my own car and an Impreza Turbo is one of the cars that I am considering.
Just thought I'd post in this section to see what sort of age & mileage of car I'd be looking at.
Cheers

Sold mine and have just bought it back 3 month's later because it was THAT good ! So, I've been looking at prices recently.
There are some big differences in what you can get for the money.
Some people are pricing realistically and others aren't. Use Autotrader to see what I mean.
For my £9k's worth I got a 99(T) plate with F(S)SH, Subaru warranty, air con, Subaru approved (prodrive) exhaust bits, and recent major service (plus other subtle modifications).
Buying an Impreza is one thing, but running it is another.
Check the following if they will soon need doing / or allow for:-
Cambelt service £300+ (45 or 60k)
Front discs/pads £300
Clutch £650+
Major service £350+ (every 30k)
Tyres £80 (every 15k)
If you buy a 99MY over a 98, you get 4 pot brakes which were better than the old 2 pots, and a number of styling changes.
Also, you get the uprated 215bhp engine that was basically unchanged in the WRX which has only just been changed again (Feb03)
Also, consider the hatch over the saloon, as I did - twice now !
De-badge it and you have a stealth-wagon which severely confuses prats examining your backbumper when you floor it in 4th on the motorway. (Did I say it had a 250bhp ECU?!)
