A weird boot lid request...

From: oustide the asylum?
I would like to borrow a boot lid for my MY96 saloon for a little while (about an hour should do) to see whether my boot lid is distorted or whether it's something else like the boot lid arms.
I know this is a bit strange, but I hope someone can help
I'm based on the IOW, and would prefer to avoid huge ferry fares!
