Want to replace the standard one with the STi light-weight version to save X kg. Ideally in DBM colour.
By the way, does anyone know the weight difference between the two?

When you lift the bonnet while it's on the car it seems a huge amount. When they are off the car it doesn't feel that much different to be honest. I too went from a ali bonnet to steel one (facelifted). I wouldn't really worry about the added weight of a steel bonnet......the difference in weight could be saved by laying of the pizzas and keebabs for a few weeks 
. The amount of crap i've got in the boot would probably add 20kg to the car anyway!!!!
