OUCH!
did your car die of severe det with the piston and the 4 valves by any chance? or of something else (apart from the piston going though the block )

will you need the whole engine..?? is it pistons/bottom end e.t.c thats gone... you could order these parts, i cant even imagine how much a STI 7 engine would be they have not even been out long....... i think that the STi parts would more than likly have to be ordered from japan...

1 piston shot, 4 vales shot, 1 head shot. Thought i'd just do a full transplant of a full block.

Get the turbo checked. If you have done a piston, and some valves, chances are the bits have been blown out the exhaust side, and damaged the turbo.

Yes just one piston, all 4 valves heads were found in the bore. Must be heat as it looked like they just melted off!. Sti7 was a tremendous let down in handling and pace. Very laggy, uncommunicative handling, no guts. Think i'll stick to evos from now on.
