What you want one of them for when you can have this?
Does all the SP III does (yes, voice too ) but can be used as a PDA/PocketPC Portable, more versatile etc etc.
I use my PDA with a GPRS phone for surfing SN in strange & foreign places - but I'm sad. At least I can use the same thing to navigate to & from said strange & foreign places

My brothers got one & its not all that. It is very slow!! If you want a sat nav system i would get the Alpine single DIN unit with DVD of europe. Works a treat & is very quick. Think they cost around £1500. I remember my brother baught his garmin for £800 @ this camping shop in Guildford.

BL,
It's not THAT slow! Anyway, at double the price, of course the Alpine will be faster! Like saying, Imprezas are slow, you don't want to get that, you want to get a TVR - yes at double the price, it damn well will be faster!!!
Anyway the in-car system is obviously not movable - you might have more than one car, what's the use of a system like that in that scenario then?
Just my tuppence...
Mark, get one for £400 second hand and I think you'll be doing very well. You should be able to, I did, and on Scoobynet!
It's a good solid system, clear, accurate and quick enough (you shouldn't be using it whilst 'racing'!) It's all you need. I've had both systems and prefer the Garmin anyday.
Good luck in finding one.
Rich.

mark,
I don't have your email address at home so decided to post them here;
As mentioned kit comes with case, data lead and car power lead.
