My MY95 pride and joy was hit by a tanker lorry and he's stuffed the bood lid in and the bumper. I am claiming on my insurance as my car was parked at the time and it was not my fault, however, the recommended repairers have hit the problem (as i suspected they might) of supply from the Subaru dealer - as expected, they won't talk to them with an imported car!

So, does anyone know where i can get a new ali boot lid for my car?

by the way, the lorry driver said he was pulling over after he hit me but he drove off (ar$eh*le). Thankfully, a witness gave chase and caught him but i called the police anyway.

contact the parts department at lancaster pangbourne subaru, i know that they can source part for imports.

Is it an STI or just a wrx? My wrx boot feels like it's alloy but it is actually steel (use a magnet to check) My bonnet IS alloy but boot same as uk models, check yours before importing a bootlid from japan.

Just to confirm, the boot lid on my '95 WRX is definitely steel, not ally.
