Can anyone help?
Ideally I'm looking for Cosworth Pistons and Rods for a Subaru Impreza CS400 OR a short block (SB8005). These are all out of production.

I'm interested in what people have to sell as a substitute to rebuild an EJ25 engine for a genuine CS400.

Any leads would be gratefully received!

tbh i would just find a 2.5 block, get it closed decked and use that.

is the cosworth block a specific block or just a forged normal 2.5 block?

You can buy brand new 2.5 blocks from ICP if you have a damaged block.
You can also buy the later Type RA USDM short engine from them (different piston than the normal 2.5)

What you need depends on what your damage is and what your plans are. There are lots of options out there.
