Uprated Radiator, GC8 classic UK2000. W reg
Hi guys,
I’m in the process of having a : 2.35 stroker built, in a GC8 classic, UK2000. W reg.
What radiator would fellow members recommend?.
How much can the original radiator cope with.!
Does anyone have a good condition radiator for my needs going for sale, let me know.
cheers
Jon

When this question has cropped up before its regularly mentioned that RCM ran a stock radiator in the original Gobstopper as it was more than adequate for the job. I'm sure a big double core race radiator is more efficient, it's just not required in most cases. Happy to stand corrected though.

Stainless steel hose clips
Recently I put in new radiator and found something interesting about the Subaru hose clips. They are based on fish pond supply clips. "Double Wire Pond Hose Clamp Pipe Clip Screw Bolt Tight Fitting Fliter Pump" they are called. What's more unlike Subaru clips these are stainless steel meaning no more rotting clips. Very good value sold by Amazon and eBay. The The best packs are 5 for the price of Subaru 2. The size you need is 46 - 51 mm. Undo the bolt, yank the wire open and you don't even have to take off rubber hose to fit on. Hope this helps... because jubilee clips leak like a fish
