Default WANTED Blob wrx Wagon or saloon considered

A little ahead of myself, but i am looking for a blobeye wrx, saloon or wagon to purchase in may/ June. I have in the region of £4000 to spend. Would consider a partial project, but must be rust free on the body shell.

let me know if you are planning on selling in this time area.

Thanks. First question what is jdm?
And why the 2.0 and not the 2.5? Is that because of what I said in op. I thought the 2.5 would be a bit quicker? I said in not a boy racer, meaning the look of an sti put me off.
I've seen a few 2006/7 2.5 wrx for around my price range, are these not a good choice?
