Might be of interest to some......
... I'm taking part in the MLR/22B sprint series in 2014 in Chris wrx rcy's old car.
I will be entering in S1 fast road class, so the car needs some work and certain parts changed to comply with the rules.
To compete in the complete series I've had to go looking for sponsorship with a calculated budget in the region of £6k.
I have achived one third of the budget with one sponsor so now I need to push to find the final two thirds.
To keep things clean and auditable I have built up a small race team.
Found here http://www.svmotorsport.co.uk or http://www.facebook.com/Svmotorsport.co.uk
You can follow the progress on both sites.
The series can be found here

Your all welcome to come along when the series starts and jump in for a lap

Need your assistance guys and gals.
Could I ask you kindly to share my page on Facebook. I know we are all busy but I need more exposure to help me secure more sponsors.
I do appreciate your effort.
Many thanks.

Right, may as well update progress.
This year is going to be a testing year ready for a full series next year.
Getting sponsorship has proven to be a struggle but I have achieved a great goal and it's worked out great.
I have one sponsoring moneys and the rest are offering their services and parts at fantastic prices.
I can only thank them for their ongoin support in my adventure.
So where am I up to??
Well I've changed the car from Chris' Wrx to a Wrx type Ra.
The silver car was far to nice to be thrown around a track and banged about.
Plus the Ra is one of the lightest imprezas to start with. This one came with a weigh bridge certificate of just 1200kg.
I have a list of parts to fit and a list to get to start and finish the build as quickly as possible.
So far I have:
Prodrive bucket seats
Ap 330mm 6 pot brakes
17" speedline turini's
Wössner pistons
Spare Wrx box.
Plenty of dccd centre diffs.
Couple of closed deck engines
Bilstein Prodrive suspension
What I need is:
2 pot rear brake set up
6 point bolt in cage
Someone who is clever with fibreglass
Fuel lab pressure regulator
Yellow injectors
Walbro pump
Spare set of turini's
Spec c nitrided crank
Harnesses
Extinguisher
This could go on for a while so I'll stop there for now.
Will keep you up dated with the progress.
As I go along.

I was told they were 550's as people think like I did but I know now that these will be 440cc. Some of the prongs are missing on the one injector but it all seems to be fine, by all means I can pm you some pics of them.
