I'd love a 911 of any year, it's a shame that the owner of that one couldn't drive it.

I dare say that they have enough money not to worry about the repair costs.

Judging by the lack of major rutts in the grass, it doesn't look like it went in hard.

At least he was trying.

Yes indeed a very lucky man.He just missed the tree.
I once did the same in a beemer when coming off a roundabout & gave it too much welly.(Diesel spill, that's my excuse) 180 onto the verge.Got out to find a massive jagged concrete block buried in the grass 2 feet from the car.It would have ripped the bottom out of the car if I had hit it.

Rob Legend, I hope that the next time you have an "off" that someone is around to capture it for posterity and post photos along with snide comments on a public forum.

Regardless of what we drive we're all car enthusiasts and very few of us have God-like driving skills. Poor ****ing form.

Steady on old man. No one was hurt in the making of the accident and other RWD cars are available and all in all the comments have been pretty benign.

What a strange post. I can't see anything wrong with what's been posted by the other users.

Everyone likes to admire someone else's misfortune and all post have been made in jest, It doesn't look like man or machine were hurt to much so what's your problem??

Coming from a user with such a low post count and clearly someone with a bee in your bonnet, Perhaps it's time for you to jog on (And I'm only using jog on because of the swear filter)

I've long since retired from picking fights on online forums, but there's a few more words to be said before I'll let this one lie.

While the majority of comments have indeed been fair, mocking the Porsche driver's skills and posts like "they have enough money not to worry about the repair costs" are not.

Think for a moment how you'd feel in the guy's situation. I bet you'd be ****ing gutted. Now imagine how you'd feel if undisguised photos of your mishap were plastered for posterity online. To add insult to injury, thanks a nice bit of rabble-rousing by OP, this thread has now gone viral elsewhere.

But it's all just fine isn’t it, because it's provided a moment of entertainment for you, hasn’t it?

There's a reason why I have a low post count and that's the quality of (some of) the people on this forum.

Plenty, my comments were tongue in cheek and not meant to be taken offensively.

Now why you find the need to reprimand other forum users like you are the voice of reason is beyond me, if you don't like the topic or thread then don't comment on it.

If I see threads or posts that bother me then I generally ignore them unless they give genuine offense or are abusive.

I appreciate nice cars, but I also know that there is a time and place to drive fast and knowing the area where the incident happened which I'd guess you don't plus it would appear that three high performance cars were road racing I've got even less sympathy than I did before.

What a load of codswallop. The pictures hardly show any personal information regarding the vehicle apart from colour, make and model.

It's taken on a camera phone, from some distance, on a dark, rainy day. I'm viewing the pictures on a highend pc with a 27" monitor and struggle to make out a complete reg.

How would you suggest he disguise the car? Use photoshop to change the colour and shape or perhaps put a big black square over the entire so no one can see it. or better still paint a moustache, glasses and a funny hat on the picture so no one will ever recognise!!

There are plenty of pictures on every car forum of mis-haps both posted by the owners and others. That's life.

Clearly there has been a lack of skill, either there driving skill or the skill to drive to the road condition or the photo wouldn't of been taken.

Money has nothing to do with it. I would certainly hope he has insurance (like the rest of us) and all cost will be covered except his excess. Which I'm sure wouldn't be that much different from say your or mine.

Are you seriously condoning all the you tube vids of car crashes/mis-haps?? or in fact any you tube video that shows someone's misfortune?

You need to get down of that high horse and join the real world.

If you still can't see your talking bollox, I suggest you Jog on and refrain from posting in this section again.

Sorry, but would you call a person that had both a Porsche and a Scoob a silly billy driver ?

I'd be gutted if that was mine and without knowing the circumstance behind the off, its hard to call him a silly billy Porsche driver
