Ok then.......
I've been quieter than a quiet thing at a party of quietness of late so what's everyone up to for this year?
Myself .... Well I'll be rolling out the R yet again in the spring but I've a few bits I want to take a look at namely the Laterals and trailing arms that need a freshen up cosmetically . Just keeping on top of things
So what's everyone else got planned mod wise? I'm sure we all have a tinker list

After the fun of Christmas, I am now welding up some new doors for my garage. Then it's full steam ahead on the campervan.
Also still have RF's engine here and a mk4 Cortina on it's way. All fun!!

Which include taking me for a ride when its finished :
Need to sort the front drivers wing from where I reversed over the mudflap and ripped the bloody thing clean off along with all the fixings
Change all the exhaust gaskets on the car
Set of wheels
Good detail
Remove the dv and go dv less mmmmmmmmm
Fresh map for piece of mind and tinkered to my style, want a twin map set up with maybe a Methanol map ( still debating that one, opinions welcome )
Wideband kit
Psy3 monitor
And learn how to data log and how the ecu works, always been intrigued with that side of it
Really hoping work cuts me some slack for the meets I don't know how many times I have to ask and try to swing it, but something always goes **** up

As above, or preparing to spend a fair whack of money sorting out the (some quite big) niggles, I.e rust slowly progressing in the rear arch area needs sorting, paintwork all over would benefit from a good detailing/refresh, a decent suspension setup ( existing is getting on a bit now) , new Rear tyres, Map tweak/ health check activation of al/LC...... I can see the very large amount of£££££ signs going up writing this now..... Ohhh I dunno, seems to be a lot to spend on a car that gets driven once in a blue moon, slowly falling out of love with Subaru ownership.....:'(

You may think you are falling out of love with it, but I'm sure it puts a smile on your face when you do drive it that's one of the things I can honestly say I love about it, regardless of all the bills and even more fuel bills lol when I'm behind the wheel I can honestly say I enjoy it, its money well spent in my eyes rather than pissing it against the wall every weekend

Well it's about time I cracked on with my Ra.
So:
My parts have been building up slowly. Managed to pick up another CDB yesterday so that's three I have now. Just need to speak to Cath @ advanced automotive to send me the internals to fill one of them.
And then the greatest task of all. Sourcing a set of WRC DH22 cam shafts.
Busy year really. But I'm looking forward to it.
So:
- Finish garage
- Pull ra in and fit cage
- Build engine
- Source damaged jdm sti any age with 6speed.

I will be ordering a cage from Custom Cages. The full works one welded to the strut tops.
I kept reading about Kent cams when I researched the cams but when I check their site the part number never matched up. Will speak to them in person far easier.
The garage is a bigger than single but smaller than a double garage. It's been so full of stuff I've collected over the years it got to a point that I couldn't use it. So I have bought a shed filled that with a filling system. Now have to dry line and paint the floor before I begin my build.

Garage is looking lovely now Dyl, it's been a while since there's been a proper project in there. Looking forward to being tea boy down there again, and giving some help and advice lol
