Why not just repair that and break the bug. Could use the front end from Simons car.

Too much work transferring the Auto box over?! Could be plausible though if it's possible

Too much work probably. You'd need to swap the gearbox, gear shift, try and sort out the safety system on the ignition key. The hardest part of the car to repair would be the metal wheel arch, it's mullered up to the strut. Nice idea though!

Yeah didn't think about the ignition side of it and the safety thingy. Complete new inner wing cut and reweld a new on in. Nah to much hassle unless you got time and proper equipment. Glad he's got an engine finally sorted.

I did think about repairing it, but I don't have the best bodywork skills so it wouldn't be worth while. The whole purpose of buy this was to get Si back on the road. Then hopefully break even by selling the parts off the car.

There are no prices at the moment. It will be a good couple of weeks before I am in a position to start breaking. All the prices will be based on stuff that has sold on here, adjusted for any damage (ie the rear bumper that has scratches in the paint).

When it comes to the time when I pull the part of the car, you will have first call. if the price is right then it's yours.

Might be interested in the turbo & injectors. Let me know the price when you get that far.

Cheers,

Ian

The injectors may stay with the engine as it is being transfered as a unit to a different car. If Si's original injectors are better then they will be swapped, and you can have the one's out of the STi.

Nope, there are too many people I would let down. So it's getting stripped. Thanks for the interest though.

I was just suggesting that rich could transfer Simons front end onto the blob that's crumpled instead of changing engine. But too much work involved. Thanks anyway.
