anyone who knows danw
he crashed into a bridge in Cwmbran yesterday and ended up in a river he is ok he was in the gwent the last i heard

I work right by the accident spot. I didnt see it but a boy I work with did. It's in the South Wales Argus today. He's very lucky looking at the photographs. I Don't know him, but glad he's ok.

I don't know why I resurrected this thread but if nothing else it is simply to say thank God for Subaru Imprezas. If I hadn't been in the Scooby that day I honestly think I would have either died or been far worse injured.
I have never fully explained what happened that day but that's mainly because I feel like a bit of an idiot.
Having an accident as big as that completely transformed my view of driving.
Nobody but myself was to blame for what happened though.
Now it has been nearly 18 months since it happened I can look back at it without feeling any of the pain it caused. That was a hell of a day.
Thanks again to those of you who send words of support.

I defo need to pull my finger out and pop down for a brew.
If you are going to the classic car show Sunday I might catch you there. I am planning on having a look but am taking the Pug 106 so I haven't paid much attention to the thread on the subject.
My wife gave birth to a little girl on the 23rd of August so I have been a bit busy. The daughter is our third as we have two boys so I am now ageing 3 times quicker. Good job I have a family car (Impreza) as well as the pug.

Don't worry Dai, if you are like me it will take years to meet up.
I have been promising Glenn that I will pop down for over a year and I still haven't done it.
Whats worse is that I pass his place alomost daily.
