I get the tester pots, about £5 for a pot and i've done 3 different cars and hardly used any. There wax goes along way.

Seems well worth it then for all the time it lasts - I'm usually a Turtle Wash n Wax man myself but need to get some TLC going for the spring. I did splash out on Meguires ultimate wash n wax last year though. With the Dodo Juice wax I take it you just use shampoo to clean then apply the DJ ?

Ideally you want to give it a good polish after you have washed it, it is just a wax, it wont make the car shine any more then it does before you apply it, its to stop contamination and protect the finish basically.

As a base before the wax goes on you can stick some lime prime on there. it helps with the application of the hard wax and the bonding with the pre wax cleaner (lime prime)

I've got a large 200ml lightly used (demo - so will do a deal) tub of light fantastic and a panel pot (good for 5-10 cars) of diamond white here.

£32-50 isn't expensive.. my 'regular' wax on customers cars is £130 for 200ml and the others I use are £200 and £2100 for the same amount!

You definitely need to prep the paint with lime prime or another paint cleanser/ glaze first for best results.
