SUSPENSION & BRAKES
Started the strip down to day on car got all four corners up on stands and wheels off ready to take struts off to put eibach lowering spring on but found o/s/f strut leaking so do i change the pair or just the leaking one then seen the state on the front discs nice grove/lip on top of the discs and pads are low so i need pads and discs so while its off the road i thought id put a larger brake kit on the front but dont want to do wheel change so wot kit can i put on with 17inch rims iam putting 25mm wheel spacers on two then i took rear wheels off and the rear disc are in same shape as the front so pads and discs on rear and the rear arb is looking crap two all rusty and powder coat flaking off so may as well do front and rear arbs the list grows longer so heres the list i want wheres the best place to buy on a budget looks like car going to be off road for a while thanks in advance for any advice

2 front struts, give Godspeed a ring in Brynmenyn, B'end, he should sort you out brake wise CDF for droplinks front and back. I would leave the front standard ARB wise and go for a thicker one at the back.

2 shocks ordered for tuesday pm sent to godspeed for brakes and a little more saving for rear arb and links going to get front arb repowder coated wile iam at it may get some pics up of work in progress if i can figure how two

I'd personally go with :
Whiteline rear 22mm anti roll bar
CDF Racing drop links all round
Godspeed grooved front discs with EBC Bluestuff all round
Plus of course a proper steering/suspension geometry setup as well.

dident think of hoses did want to upgrade calipers on the front while iam at it, so i have to add hoses & fluid to my list and i will get a geometry set up when all done did see a thread about geometry set up on here the other day

If you're not going to be going for massive power I'd just change the brake discs, pads, uprated brake hoses and fluid that'll make a massive difference to your brakes especially if you go for one of the better pad compounds such as PF, EBC Bluestuff/Orangestuff etc.
The brake pads will in my opinion make more difference than changing the calipers and sticking with a generic brake pad.

started the stripping down the car today taken front struts off taken top mounts of ready for the new springs n struts.the front calipers are in a bad way rust wise the inside of the calipers are badly corroded so its either a refurb or replace have taken some pics just got to work out how to upload them
