How the F**K does it come off! Tried locking the internals, socket on, hefty twist and snapped some of the cooling fins on the case .

TF I have a spare. I am trying to fit a lightweight pulley.

Air ratchet plus weld a bar onto the pulley so you can stop the pulley from turning whilst the alternator is locked in a vice, it's a pig of a job to do as I saw when Dylan did mine.

edit weld the bar onto your old pulley.

You need to grip the pulley in a vice using some soft jaws or wraping something protective around it then use an air gun to undo the nut .
