Fit new you tightwad, sealant might be ok for a while but when it fails do you really fancy having to do the job again?

Do the job properly first time and not the second, third or even fourth time.

A good gasket should last more than a year. reused the downpipe one on my car because i forgot to get a new one, no blows with it.

Such are the joys of running your car illegally Ryan, put new on this time and see the condition of them when you refit the CAT for the cars next VOSA test.

Gaskets are not really designed to be reusable even the multi layer steel gaskets.
