As the thread title, has anyone done this or had it done? Looking for tips or at info.

Have you thought about powder coating them? Castle coatings in Caerphilly are good.

SSS has had his top mount and pipe work painted and plenty of us have had our FMIC pipework painted/powdercoated.

It's not hard to do it yourself

Good stuff that's what I wanted to hear. I will attempt this myself any paint in particular? How warm does the section passing the turbo get?

I sprayed my own, primed first and laquered after.
Been fine for over a year,

had mine done in lonlas skewen, up the top of industrial area on the left next to stadium body shop. £40

I had my FMIC pipework powdercoated @ The Wheel Specialist in Cwmbran in matt black, cracking job and price plus a lot more durable than paint.
