fitted new clutch and flywheel all great for 100 miles then put the foot down car started to splutter abit engine light flashed on off for 10 secs then just stayed on. been to scared to drive it since any suggestions??

 

Sounds Like a boost pipe has come off fooling you maf. Check all connection you disconnected when doing the clutch.

 

What year is the car mate?

hi boys its a 2002 im from cwmbran ill check if there is any thing obvious not connected i didn't do the clutch is there anything else to look out for ? i haven't long changed the maf sensor

 

I've got a diagnostic system on a laptop (Ecutek Deltadash) if you want me to have a look for you, I'm in Pontypridd or thereabouts during the day but I'm often down that neck of the woods.

i have discoverd the problem the intercooler hose was loose . thank god for that engine management light has gone off now aswell thank you ever so much guys for your willingness for help. i just need to fit the new fmic then im going to getting rempad cheerz once again
