Be very careful where you park you pride and joy in the new Kingsway car park at Newport. Left mine there for an hour today and it got dripped on by caustic/acid from the ceiling. Bonnet, wings, roof, boot, just about the whole car has been burnt by these liquid drops. Washed and liquid waxed the car but marks are still there. Tried some scratch X and this seems a bit better. It got too dark to continue cleaning. Will carry on tomorrow.
Have contacted Kingsway Centre but still waiting for a reply.

 

Shocking that is mate, the last thing you expect after doing a bit of shopping. Don't go to newport much but will avoid next time i go, hope you get a bit of compo out of them its bang out od order. Oh and keep ya reciepts for the polish etc. u shouldn't be shelving out for someone else's **** up!!

It took me about 8 hours of cleaning but all the marks have gone. Thank f**k.
Went to the car park today and all the ceilings to level 3 (the higher levels were blocked off) were covered with drips. Some areas were cordoned off where there were little waterfalls coming through the ceilings.

No reply from kingsway centre yet.

 

get yourself back there and take some pics of the areas cordoned off , will help if they try and deny there was a problem.
did you take any pics of the damage, if you did i ll give you an invoice for the correction
