Default And now for something COMPLETELY different....

I wanted to save this until the next meet but sod it the excitement is killing me!!

The Scoob leaves with her new owner Friday but it's a guy in his early 50s and I know he take care of it as much as I did

I'm getting what I wanted for her so I'm happy. I wasn't going to sell it to just anyone, even if they did stump up with all the cash. I didn't want some chav come along who can't drive for toffee and is bound to crash it on his first roundabout etcso in that respect I'm happy she's going to a new home The deal is getting done Friday morning, then Sunday I'm picking this up......

Good job Merv. Is that an M5? Very nice. Glad it's found a good home, will he be attending any meets? Could help bring the average age down.

WTF?

Glad you've got what you wanted for your car but when did start or did you intend to start selling drugs?

I thought you were going for a Type R or an Evo at a push, that's a total shock to be honest Merv.

Mind you if I got rid of the Spec C then I've always like the Porsche Boxster 3.2S...

If I got the Type R I would've ended up modding it to the hilt again even though I say I won't at least with the Beemer it's not that tuneable and is 400bhp out of the box! The Xmas Run out should be fun if I get the time off

I say it's not THAT tuneable, 9k will get me a Supercharger and 520ish bhp

I know mate, I only told a few people I was getting rid! Couldn't keep it quiet any longer

Picking the M5 up on Sunday is the only this from keeping me thinking that the Scoob is really going Friday! I really will be gutted to see her drive away! I've got plenty of change to put towards a house anyway I budgeted to have 7.5k change and I did well

Glad you got what you wanted for it mate, and the M5 is a right beast of a car! It must be something about scoobs and M5's because a couple of years back a mate of mine traded in his classic for an M5 like that one, he loved it! Great sound too!

It'll sound even better by the meet I've always loved them, they're very understated and one hell of a car! I'll try and find the options list! The V8 sounds amazing

Glenn, the front has some road rash but nothing a quick blow over won't sort out how was the one getting detailed looking? It's a bluey black colour!!

Not yet anyway, I'd probably go for an 911 having thought about it - a nice 70's classic 911 Targa 2.7 or similar.

Isn't your mapping session tomorrow Simon?

Good choice of 911's Ty - I was worried then, if you do I'll have a blue rinse

Mapping today Ty Same prob's with the delta dash and autobox !! Bob reckons on 350 all round If I can get the ratio's it may work - but if you remember I got them in the handbook, can then coose a suitable gear then, used 4th for the session today, with some kickdown in the auto mode !!
