SPIDERS - do they like car wax?
Saturday night I washed the car, squidgeyed it down and put it in the garage.
After all your help and advice about car wax I decided to buy Autoglym HD wax which I dutifully applied to the car once it had completely dried off. After a buff I admired my work for a while then went upstairs to chill.
Next morning I decided to have a look at my handiwork again only to discover my own little horror story infolding-the car was covered in spiders. Only baby ****** but spiders al the same and literally hundereds of them.
I hate spiders.
Our garage is under the property and is central heated so a nice spot to raise a family if you are a spider.
Anyway I spent most of the day getting the little blighters off. Needless to say many died.
Is it possible they were attracted to my wax? I've never seen anythin like it.

Probably just decided to come out due to the warmer weather - good job it's not Australia - the spiders there would have dented your bodywork
Hope you didn't get bitten as the urge to wear a blue and red jumpsuit may be too much to resist !!!!
How did the polish do though - any good ????

Aye the polish seemed to work well. I'll see how I get on with it for a few more waxes to make sure though.
As for the spiders - I think the garage is just a good spot and the car a convenient nesting spot. little buggers all the same tho.
seemed a bit mad tho that the next morning after waxing there were so many all over the paint work.
