I did it, I picked up a 2004 (54) STI type uk PPP.
It in silver but not the light silver. Its sort of a D spec silver but its not a D spec as Its got the high level spoiler. Its also got the central diff control and the intercooler water spray.
Its in immaculate condition but I would say that. I'm still feeling a bit anxious as I'm looking out for hidden gremlins. So far so good.
I'll get some pics done later and post them tonight hopefully.
I'm looking forward to coming out on some runs in the country with you all now safe in the knowledge I can keep up a bit better now

Cheers Richy,
It'll be good to have a catch up at some point over the coming months. I had better start putting me name down for a few of the up coming events.

I got a few cosmetic mods planned but going to leave the drive train alone.
Anybody know the best place to pick up a front splitter?
I'm thinking of removing the spoiler altogether like I did with my last Scoob.
I'll run for cover.
I just think the car looks wider and more planted without the spoiler.

Aye Ian, I'm an early riser. You know that saying "early to bed early to rising makes a man healthy wealthy and boring as hell"
or something like that.
My girlfriend is always up early to get her nipper ready for nursery before she goes to work so I usually try and get up with her.
I picked up the car wednesday.

I'm gona try and do as little as possible. Show some restraint.
I'll lower it and put a front splitter on too.
Not much else for now. Controlling those urges.

They are OEM wheels there... don't forget looking at it you have the new PCD on those alloys, the 05 sti on had them... your wheels options on 18's are massive there are some brilliant ones about, don't rush into anything have a good look around first.

That's my thinking. Get the car low and add the splitter to enhance the effect.
I reckon Newage Imprezas look very sqwat without the spoiler tho. I know alot of you are against the idea.
I have already been looking at taking it off but its held on with ten bolts.
I really don't know whether to just blank the holes with some plugs or get them filled and sprayed.
