Not used it in 6 weeks
Hi
Due to my Impreza being my second car and the fact the battery is flat I havn't used it in 6 weeks, and will be more like 8 weeks before I fit the new battery.
Im just wondering am i going to encounter any problems when I first start the car up again? Is there anything specific i should do when i do start it, or just drive it as normal?

I leave mine standing quite a bit, the problems I have are:
Siezed brakes (usually the rear) last week I had to take them apart to clean them, it got that bad!
Flat spots on tyres, just take it easy for a few miles and they'll dissappear.
Otherwise you should be ok, I generaly go for a gentle 10 mile drive before I give it some beans. This is just to wake the drivetrain up after sitting there so long.
