Default Shell Optimax running dry in Newport

Guy's,

Just to let you know that Shell optimax is running dry in Cwmbran, Malpas Road, Newport and Newbridge.

Running on fumes and garage hopping hoping to find some fuel, Chepstow Road Shell is the only one selling the stuff.

Blinkin hell, its only 120.9 here, I think I'd rather run dry than pay 127

Bit of a national shortage of V power at the moment, looks like the octane booster might come in handy.

Affected up here aswell! Not sure if anyone is familiar with the places but will post them just incase. Overton, Wishaw is out of V-Power also Newmains is completely out..

However Tesco 99 in plenty supply so is BP ultimate 97? So whats the problem Shell?

I Always use shell, but if none I use Tesco 99, I don't touch BP whatsoever!

Its the first time I've used another super-unleaded today besides Shell, I've had to buy some Tesco 99 at Spytty at £1.20 alitre which wasn't bad.

It'll be interesting to see how it compares to V Power now.
