As above Guy's - hoping for some tips/hints on removing a thin layer of residue from paintwork, tried white spirit with no joy
Also tried rubbing it off with my finger and a bit of friction, not much help, so any tip would be great - apart from "Shouldn't have it got it on there in the first place !!" Don't want to remove the paint too
Simon, when I had the road paint on my car Eclipse used a non-acidic wheel cleaner (I have some which is based on a fruit compound) - it was rated as ok to use on paint and did not damage the paintwork.

I would then polish the paintwork after.
That's interesting - thanks Tyron - I'll have a look down that road too
That's a very kind offer - I work in Orchard Street, where you based ?
P/S. It's not too much now, basically it's the leading edge of a Vortex Generator, and there are portions that I can't seem to budge, the portions are'nt all the way accross either
