Default Help Needed

As some of you are aware i had my wheels stolen recently from the refurbers.
The insurance company have asked for a reciept for the wheels so they can estimate the claim

This is where i need help - Does anybody know where i can get a receipt ?
I dont have the original receipt as i've moved property recently and didnt think i'd still need it so it was thrown out

Don't they like to make things difficult Who keeps receipts like that Would they not accept a written quote from a supplier for the cost of new wheels like the ones that were taken

Tony, When I got burgled several years ago I was able to supply pictures to prove that I owned certain items. Perhaps this is an option?
Alternatively, if you purchased the wheels from a supplier that's still in business, they may have a record of the purchase. If you bought on-line, you may have an old purchase confrmation e-mail on your pc.

If you bought them on a card then you will be able to use a statement as proof of purchase. I'm not sure how far the banks go back with statments though.
