Your WRX boot lid springs will be weaker so your boot lid may not stay open with the Sti spoiler. Other than that like Merv said no problem.

I dont know mate, but usually aftermarket stuff is heavier so if its an OE item then i'd thought it might be a tad lighter than replica.
Its not so much of a problem on a calm day but if your on a slope or its a bit breezy then it may close as the springs are not strong enough to resist.
Its heads and fingers that suffer if you happen to be in the boot at the time! Ouch

It should fit straight on but the WRX spoiler I think has 4 studs securing it to the boot lid but the STi spoiler has 14 studs.

If you are fitting an genuine item them you can either remove the extra studs and bond it on whilst using the existing 4 holes in the bootlid OR drill out new holes in your bootlid to suit.

If you are going for a genuine item it would be worth trying to source the torsion bars as the genuine spoiler is bloody heavy and your bootlid will drop down quite heavily or just be careful when closing it.

Most of the aftermarket ones are quite light when compared to a Subaru item, just do not buy a fibreglass one as I did and ended up having to send it back as the finish was pants.
