Default Goodwood FOS

Hi Guy's,

Just seeing if there is any interest to attend the FOS on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th July this year.

Ticket prices for the event are

Friday is £35
Saturday is £50
Sunday is £50

Last year Gazz, Myself, Rob plus his mate went to last years show which I was blown away by the vast amount of different cars, bikes and so on on show.

Though the ticket prices are abit steep, its well worth the viewing.

Also, the route we took to get to FOS is a drive down you wouldnt forget.

Anyway, we have afew months to the event but its just an idea to see who's interested.

Cheers
Matt

Matt, I wouldn't mind going up say on the Friday or Saturday night and staying a Premier Inn/Travelodge.

What do you think?

Thats not a bad idea, its about a 6hr round trip otherwise and after walking all day, the last thing you want is to drive home knackered.

I remember there being afew hotels around the area, I'll start to look at prices for these.

I think we may need to scrap the hotel idea.

I've just spent the last 30 mins trying to find a hotel thats close to the circuit and thats not fully booked within a 15 miles radius and unless we want to pay £100 + for 1 night, I think we may struggle.

Put me down as a provisional Matt, will take some suncream this year me thinks!

A day trip is just about right to see everything.

If it's a 3 hour trip I would look further out for a hotel Mat... even if it's an hour away I would not consider that an issue as you will still get there refreshed in the morning.
I would not hang about with regards booking the rooms either.

Ive got 11 rooms booked for the Fri and Sat nights at a premier inn about 20 mins away with a superb quiet route via the backroads into the FoS. Not 100 % certain yet but looks like 2 of the rooms wont be required so if your interested let me know.

The rooms are £52/night.

A quad bike would be better! **** me I was knackard. Can't you camp there? Be good to go Friday camp then Saturday. I'd be up for it. Also take a good packed lunch and drinks. It was a fortune for food and drink as always at these events.

Drive was top fun but be nice to not have to do a 3 hr after a 20 mile walk.

If you want, I'll start looking at hotels outside the area on the weekend if all are okay with that.

If I get a rough idea of how many want to stay over, I'll book some rooms provisionally.
