White wheel club photoshop required!
Ok, as some of you might know, i had a bit of damage done to my wheels by an un-named garage last year. The guy that did it was very helpful and had all 4 wheels repaired and re-sprayed in light grey instead of the silver, but it seems the job wasnt done very well and the paint has started to chip here and there.
So what do you think? Should i have them renovated properly and stick with the grey or should i join the white wheel club. I think it could look good with white wheels but i would like someone to do their magic on the below picture so i can see how it could look with white wheels. Or, do i go back to silver like in the picture?????
Thanks in advance gents,
Ian

I'm not sure that White would suit your colour car Ian. I'd want to try a set first before I committed.
You got to think about the cleaning factor as well they require a lot of maint and I know you like to keep your car looking at it's best.
I wonder if bronze would be an option

Thanks Ryan
I really do like the white, but keeping them clean is something i would be concerned with. Are they really that much work then??
The trouble with wheels is the entire car can be clean but if the wheels are dirty the car looks grubby. I have in the past just cleaned the wheels when in a rush and it makes the car look 100% better so maybe white wheels would **** me off after a few days of trying to keep them clean.
I guess i will stick with metallic grey then, dont fancy the gunmetal again, the shape of the alloy is lost in the darkness, if you know what i mean?

I think I can comment on the "white wheel club" having had set's on the Foggy and the Wagon.
Cleaning is a big pain in the arris, but if your a low mileage kind of bloke then do it!
Design is a pain, the Inovites had 12 spokes and where a nightmare to get behind. The inner surface was not 100% smooth so was difficult to keep clean.
The PFF 7's where a piece of wee wee, as you could get your hands behind the wheels and even with BREMBO's there was space. These had been refurbed and the surface of the inner wheel was very smooth and very little stuck to it.
BUT, I don't think you car suits white

I have the mintex 1144 pads on mine and my white wheels are caked in dust, and turning them yellow in places, that was just after a month of not being cleaned. When they were new they would be hard work to clean after just a week.
But The white does look nice tho

All that said though, they still look good and only i would notice right now, but im a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to the car and its just starting to bug me a little.

VC old wheels are very pink in the bronze, the Bronze ~I have on my Work Emotion wheels is a lot different, it's a very dark bronze, almost a very very dark gold. Have a look at Daones car on here, he's got the same wheels
