£500 run around.
Guys, im after a cheap run around. For when the car goes in for repair. I only want to spend upto £500 and I'd like it to be a diesel. Could someone let me know if they have or know of one.
sorry and I'd like it to have some MOT. I don't mind taxing it.
Many thanks
Dylan.

Not trying to take buisness away from Gareth but depending on how long you want it for wouldnt it be easier to hire a car from Days?
Save the fuss of registering it and insurance.
Think a Fiesta is about £100 a week

you be lucky to get a hire car for £100 a week. i had a good deal the other week on a 3 day hire and that was £80
then you have to think if his cars off the road for 2 weeks thats
on your estimate £200
for an extra £50 he can have the pug then sell it on for the £250 he paid all day long and hes not out of pocket at all.
the pugs a good cheap little run around its just the damp inside needs drying out and it would be a nice £450 car anyday
we sold it for £450 then had it back because we ixed the girls ford prob for her and it now only owes me £250 and as its mate thats why i said £250 for anyone else it would be £450 again
my numbers 07897 853 752 fella

Agree that little pug's a bargain, my old man had one of these, 70-80 mpg on a run! As Gareth said Dyl, you could make a couple of quid on it too or just keep it as a second car..cheap motoring.

Ummm when my car went in for repair the accident management company got a hire car for me. All costs were met by the "at fault" party. I know that Dylan's situation is different but it may be worth investigating?
Saying that, I bet you'd not loose anything on the Pug when you sell it on

and a quick look on here Day's Rental - Car and Van Hire Across South Wales shows that even the most basic car is £138.60 a week and a mondeo size being £268
but your missing my point,
if you pay £120 or whatever on a hire car that money is gone.......
if you buy a cheap car then sell it on when youve finished (as long as you find a good deal....cough "my pug" cough.........) then its not cost you a penny or even you could make a few £££££
simples........
i know its nice to drive around in a shiney new car for a week but if you buy a cheapy that you can make a few qwid on it makes you want your car back more and you miss the one you love
