no face lift came in 99 onwards i think

plus when ya have facelift usally have crystal head and fod lights

Version 3 or 4. if it has a top box in the middle of dash and the dials are factory supplied white it's a 4.

Face lift have the later stlye better looking bumper

cheers guys just got a price for an engine and was told(If it is a facelft, we can supply an STi 3 engine for £1700 complete or a UK turbo engine for £1000 basic engine)

It's the same as mine was. Pre-facelift but in 97/98 they put the updated bonnet on.
This is the face lift bumper


Only thing missing is the facelift grill (which i dont like)

Engine prices sound reasonable

Engines have done around 55,000 miles with a 28 day warranty. Personally i think,that's a bit to much,for a second hand engine!!!!

£1700 for a used lump with 28 day warranty!
Thats not far off the price of a rebuild, I know what I'd do.

mines a 98 facelift but mines got the same bumper as drives???

I only charge £500 for rebuilds, I think I need to take a look at my prices lol.

I've seen engines far cheaper than above?

I thought that price was for a new engine My rebuild was £1100 including buying the bottom end. I can pm you pics of the engine i have if you want
