I'm back!!
Picked the scoob up saturday lunch time, been looking forward to it all week. I'd forgotten how much fun she is to drive, even when running in, which i'm a pro at now! I had a set of GT spec headers fitted while she was in and after reading posts on here was worried that they would increase the lag. Well all i can say is what a load of rubbish! The turbo seems keen to spool at under 3000, where as it used to start coming in just over that. Anyways 200 miles completed saturday, another 100 today, i'm well on my way to 600 miles then my first service, to be done this saturday, hopefully.......Its good to be back!

Thanks for the comments guys. There's no way i could have gone for a spin with you two, i'm behaving myself and introducing the boost gently. The temptation would have been too great, i've been like a kid before xmas unable to open his prezzies...yet! After the first service i'll put a bit of milage on, then as Merv says its 550's then remap time!

Nice drive though up through Ystradgynlais, Brecon, Lower and Upper Chapel, Builth Wells, Llandovery, A4069 Black Mountains and then home.
Dylan's girlfriend is learning quickly especially the sideways action she gave it going up the A4069 at the hairpin bend.

5th actually, including the original one Dan. I've only paid for 2 thank god. Any more and i'll be finding a Subaru sized skip!
I'll be WRC'ing it with Jarvis sunday Calv and its my birthday too, so i'd better spend the evening with my lovely lady and get my presents. I'll defo have to venture down to one of the Swansea meets though, haven't been to one in ages.
Cheers for all the comments guys, its great to be back in the driving seat
