Brakes on a budget!

Brakes on a budget!
Well as most of you know my brakes packed up on me about a week ago.
The drivers side 4 pot caliper decided it would seize up ruin the disc so as a result they needed replacing.
I had an advisory on the rear discs being pitted on the M.O.T so I thought it would be more cost effective to replace them and the rear pads at the same time.
So the hunt was on to find the cheapest solution on a very tight budget!
For just under £400 I mangaed do get my Subaru 4 pot calipers refurbed by Ian @ godspeed brakes based in bridgend for £195 and painted in blue although you can have any colour you desire.
Ian was very polite and profesional throughout and I definatley will be looking to go back and upgrade the rear brakes in the future with him as the service and standard of the refurb was second to none.
To be honest with all the negative press latley regarding tuners and suppliers its just nice to have something positive to say about them.
Then my attention went to sorting out some front and rear discs and pads.
I searched everywhere I could to find out my options and stumbled upon ebay and found the following deal:
Front drilled and grooved discs to suit the 4 pot subaru calipers
Rear drilled and grooved discs to suit for the rear calipers.
1 set of front mintex brake pads.
1 set of rear mintex brake pads.
Done a bit of research before buying a fellow member has them on his car and has nothing but good things to say about them, and as I dont track or really abuse my car Im not that worried about the drilled discs cracking.
Many good reports aswell from other forums regarding the seller and the quality so took the punt.
Then popped over to halfords to get some brake fluid decided to put some 5.1 in halfords own brand 1 litre and a quater.
Total cost is £390.49
I would like to thank the folowing people for loads of help and offers of help during my troublesome time!

No problem glad to be of help , Ian @ Godspeed is really helpful and really knows his potatoes and to be honest I would not really go anywhere else for brakes.
That reminds me that I have to try and pop in and see him to repaint my K Sport calipers but I am unsure of colour yet - if I keep the Hawkeye they will be in the Subaru red caliper colour or if I change the car for the s202 then they will be in the Brembo gold.
