Question Caliper paint...........

Evening Guys I want to spruce up my calipers a little, can I use High Temperature Engine Enamel Paint on them - or do I need Hammerite or the Caliper paint kits ??

A mate has just used Engine Enamel and it looks good to me, a cheaper alternative is Hammerite... when I did my original 4 pots I used Foliatec it's a 2 pack product and spot on but it's not the cheapest option.

I did mine on my old WRX in red hammerite then painted the lettering with white hammerite, never any any problems with the paint other than some stone chips, no heat issues....

Yeah you are right it is only some paint !! I'm hoping to get 18's very soon and they are 7 spoke, so will be alot more "open" than the Scoob Sti alloys I now have fitted to the WRX. Wondering if red will be too in yer face - but then again - it's a Scoob LOL
