I have no idea about audio setups etc and need some advice from you wise people. I have a kenwood headunit, 2 10cm speakers in the front dash and 6x9's in the rear parcel shelf. I have also now just been given a Kenwood amp and Sub and a sony amp?
Whats the best thing to do setting them up wise?

If it were me, if it's a decent enough Stereo I would run the front speakers off this and the sub and rear 6x9's off one of the amp's.

Dylan, do you still have the head unit as I might want to convert my car to a single din system so that I can fit a scangauge unit below the head unit.
Let me know and more importantly how many pennies.

use the one with the most channels you need 3 or more. Run each 6x9 off one cannel and the sub bridged on two channels on a 4 channel amp and on one channel on a 3 channel amp.
Easier to show you at one of the meets.

I wired up the 2 front speakers and Mark did the 6x9's and cut the parcel shelf for me
I'm happy with the sound like that so i'm not going to bother with the amps and subs. As Kytey said i dont want too much weight

Cheers everyone

I had them off a woman who lives across the road from me. One is a Sony and one is kenwood. Think one is 4 channels and the other one is 2. She said if i don't use them she'll have them back, i'll see if she fancy's selling them and if she does ill put some pics up
have you been using yhat charm again ryan it 100% at the mo isnt it.also dont forget mr simb's iou. but back on topick you will find that the head unit and spekers alone sound great sat on the drive but when you get out o n the roads with the windows down it wont be enough for you so if you have the chance have the amp and sub in to the base from the sub will add some quality 6x9 are great you will never go wrong with them, in lamons terms you need 3 wires to go to the back of the car to power the amp live, nutral and earth if you have pre outs on your head unit as in rca cables.then use the amp to power the 6x9 and sub if you get the car brought to the meet and get the power cables to the boot we will wire it at the meet its easy and as simb and dylan will tell you theres nothing better than a good ice install in the summer.plus ive got a haynes manual all about ice installs if you want it.
