1000 miles of not exceeding 4000rpm...
Is hopefully at an end...
Following the complete engine rebuild of my waggon I have now covered the 1000 miles of a 4000rpm limit. It is going back to the garage for an oil change and inspection to check all is ok.

I have been out with the missus touring Cornwall in her Z4 for the last few days which was fun, but being only a 2 litre on a couple of occasions I was asking for power that just wasn't there!
Hoping the rebuild is an end to the problems with the waggon though, not had it that long but at least the garage I brought it from have sorted the repairs out of their own pocket. It has even had a new crank!

On the plus side I did it on four tanks of Tescos' 99Ron!!!
I doubt I will see economy like that again!!!
What is more annoying though. I have a couple mid week days off work and I can't drive the car now as it is now not into the garage until Thursday, otherwise I would be off on a mission to have a looksie at the evo triange and other delights that get talked about in Wales.
