Smile Found the rattle!!!

A big thanks to Ian (Blue Dragoon) for helping me find out where the rattle in the engine was coming from, i will sleep easy tonight, top man

It turns out it was the heat shield on the turbo up-pipe. It had broken off at the top weld. Couldnt get at it though, but a quick visit to Charlie at Prospeed and it should be sorted later in the week, he even said he wont charge me for it since it shouldnt take more than a few minutes to fix, second top block of the day

What a great start to my weekend

Thanks again Ian

My uppipe heat shield was rattling so i cut it off, wrapped it instead.
But if it's only a five minute job at prospeed then happy days! (and it's even better when it's free!)

Glad you managed to sort it out.

My exhaust has started rattling/banging i f I am in second gear at lowish speed usually going downhill (letting the engine hold the car back), anybody have any ideas?

Or should I take it back to Prospeed? As I had the silencer changed last Wednesday.

Seems to be a common problem.
