is a standard box ty52 uk box and is in working order, the box has done 79,000 miles
i did think there was something wrong with it a year ago as there was a vibration when i took my foot off the gas and slowed down in a gear but it was down to my mounts in my opinion as they have had their days it changes gears fine and always run it on one of the best gear oils ( silkolien)

to be honest if i was you i would see if you could get a ty54 box as it would be better and last longer than the old ty52 box if you are going to modd it abit
but it will be here if you want it

You need to wrap them Gareth they produce far to much heat not to be, and you need to wrap the up and down pipe on the exhaust buddy. I can't remember now the figures produced under there temp wise but it is an eye opening amount. My advise is to wrap them G

i agree that it's best to keep the temps down under the bonnet and i have just wrapped my new headers but this can cause some problems down the line as it keeps the heat in and tends to make the welds or headers crack after awhile
my mate makes exhausts for a living and dose alot with rallying and he also said when i asked about this that they don't wrap their exhausts anymore
i suppose if your in traffic alot tho it will benefit tho

ok fitting the turbo to the new engine and the water pipes from the block to the turbo are in diferent places ive moved them but the ones to long now and the other one fouls to oil feed pipe........

do i cut the metal water feed pipe fitted to the turbo (at least its easyer to change if need be,,,,,,,,
and do i bend the other pipe so not to foul the oil feed pipe............

and how come there different????? i thought all ej20 turbo engines were the same,,,,,

also im not to up on turbos but have seen tdo5's for sale saying there better than the std ones ??? is this true cos i just cleaned my turbo up ( well sarah did lol ) and it says TD05H on it
