It looks quite honest.
Price is a bit tasty but.............
I know there are some Typr R and RA experts out there so advice is welcome.

I'm picking up 380/1000 on Monday from API
The WRC are last of the line so they had lots of goodies lobbed at them - the seats, the dash, VF29 turbo - I've been told the same engine as an STI (by someone who should know) not sure if its got alloy arms but how much difference that makes I don't know.
Its just as quick as an STI but being a WRX its insured is as a WRX so much cheaper.
Edit - yes on the ECUTEK front.

If it has to be an STI as KJD says an STI RA would be the most agressive of the bunch.
Subaru : STi RA version 3 in standard trim
V3s have agressive cams and big turbos and low ratio 'box so probably quite an intense drive.
Subaru : Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type RA VLTD
The last of the line classics were the WRC edtions. These have smaller turbos (VF28/29) but do have a longer 5th. Plus the blue seats are lovely IMO and worth the entry fee alone
The above car is what I would have preferred but I don't believe DCCD is that important and with the wife driving I wouldn't want it to bite her. Plus I wanted a WRC version but not keen on big spoilers and the like. An RA is quite understated for an Impreza and still offers an entertaining drive.
