Hi Folks,
Unfortunately on Monday 2nd march, on the way to work, my car was written off by another road user. For those who know the area I was heading towards Whitchurch Village near the common when I got hit side on by a driver from the opposite side of the road who lost control of his works van, my car did a 180 spin . My car was hit on the rear quarter and is a ‘Cat C write off’, - fixable, but not for me.

I take it they came out of the dry cleaners or the side road near it? What a tosser.

yeah, the kids were all on their way to school passing me saying 'morning sir, what's happened to you're car?'. i was the talk of the school for the week. i was going to school at 7am an hour earlier than usual as the school was having a government inspection that week!, what a way to start. the person who went into me swerved across the road after he did not see the concrete ballard in the centre of the road. he swerved left and then right and totally lost control, i tried swerving out of the way but there was nothing i could do. when i got out of the car and asked the young lads name he said 'you know me, you used to teach me!' seems that fate is not withouit a sense of humour.

I'm sorry to say that the car has now been sold intact. I've was given a decent offer from a lad in a local body shop where the car is in storage. Obviously this is a lot easier for me as i no longer have think about moving the car or breaking it.

If you have made enquiries I am sorry for wasting your time, i have PM'd you. I'm afraid that my sanity comes before everything else, this way seemed most logical in the end.
