My girlfriends got a nifty little transmitter that plugs into her ipod and transmits whatevers playing on 87.7 FM or whatever you set it to, so you just tune your radio in. Simple as that. Works well too.

My Alpine unit as a USB connector on the back. The cable the plugs direct to an iPOD, Data stick or portable hard drive.

You can get USB direct plug in ICE systems for £99 and upwards, cheap as ****.

Thanks for comments guys, taylor i read about that one but the review bloke said there was noise interference in the backround?

The system is completely standard also and money is tight right now so 99 quid is expensive saving for dp and remap at the moment not to mention 1000 other things

I also thought id ask if anyone had or knew anyone that is selling a ipod before i buy one off ebay has to be quite a big one cause i got load of music

Buy a portable hard drive then trawl the Ad Trader for a "Still boxed and unused present" with USB Plug in.. It'll work out cheaper.

ipods are cheap as chips these days....that seems a reasonable price for a 60gb one...(who really needs that much music on there in one go?!). I've found the Griffin stuff to have a bit of fuzz over the radio tho tbh....ive not got a monster transmitter and that is awesome... was about £25 i think!
