Question Can anyone help please??!

Is there anyone out there who could help me out please? I had my tyres replaced last week and after washing the car yesterdayi found that the person that fitted them managed to damage 3 of the wheels !!!

I went back to the garage and had a word and in fairness to the owner he was quick to admit the mistake one of his lads made and offered to have all 4 wheels re-sprayed, so im not going to say what garage it was.

The only issue is, it will take a couple of days and i dont fancy leaving my car on bricks in the garage for a couple of days and i dont have any spare alloys that will fit.

Is there anyone out there that has a set of alloys 100PCD that will clear Brembos that i could hire or borrow just so that i can take my car to work and home to its safe garage. I can guarantee that they wont cover anymore than 10miles as i only live 1 mile from the garage and 1 mile from work.

Many thanks,
Ian

I have no issue with accidents to be honest, as long as they are dealt with in the right way. Turns out the boy who did it hadnt been doing the job long.

Danny, im in the Cynon valley, where are you based mate?

Nice to hear off a garage that admits when they are liable for damage and then puts it right

So many people in the motor trade damage customers vehicle and try to hide / deny fault.

you should name the garage if only to show you had good service.....unlike some posts were the garage is slated, dont go there etc etc. even if they offer/correct the mistake.

name and praise!?

I was going to, but it would probably be as much bad press as good so i figure no press is better to be on the safe side.

Cheers Richie, Merthyr would be better for me to be honest, Indigo is only 10 mins from me. I will give you a bell in the morning if thats ok to have a chat about it.

Ian, if the above works out i will go with that if thats ok with you? Dont want to mess you around, but i still owe you a pint all the same. I will ring you after talking to Richie to let you know what is happening so your not left waiting on me one way or the other.

Thanks again to everyone for all your help, it shows exactly what SWS is all about
