HELP ON DECAT PIPE ??
toke my car for a mot to find the bOth cats ar still on the exhaust. thinking ov taken the second cat along off. but it got a sensor in the pipe. ive been looking at decats on ebay only 60pound. if i take the second cat off. wil the engine management light come on. becos ov the sensor been disconnected or ? does this new pipe *** with a slot for the sensor to go back in ?? can anyone help me please ? im itching for more bhp .

IIRC there's a simple sensor mod that you can fit to the decat pipe that's basically a resistor on the end of the sensor, which fools the ECU into thinking there's no issue (which there isn't) so the engine warning light doesn't come on.

i was speakin to the boys in one ov the meets. and they said its ok to take the one out. if i tak the two out which i will b in time. i must hav it remapped and a fuel pump ? is it ok to take the one out for the time being ??
