Default Cars gone!

Guys, It is with great sadness I have to tell you I just waved goodbye to the Scooby.

I was lucky to sell it so close to Christmas I think, and got a lot more than I was being offered px against the new car last month.

I've wanted a VW Touareg for a while now what with the additions to the family the Scooby was too small and too hard. Will bring the Treg along to the next meet. Its a great ride especially for 4 people and their stuff. I held out for a 06 V6 TDI with Air suspension and I am glad I did. I will have to start doing rally days for kicks now. Went last week to Extreme rallying at Enstone Nr. Chipping Norton and got Driver of the day out of about 20 of us. Strangely even though I managed to break their STI. The Group N EVO's were amazing to drive!

Maybe its time to get a Classic for tracking...

See you all next year. I'm off to the flat land.

Gazz.

Cheers Mark. Was tempted by an RS6 but I thought it was a little extravagant at the moment and the Q7 is just TOO big.

Need to have a clear out now in the garage now. Some new flaps, gauges, pod, a few car covers to be got rid of I think.

Cheers Kev. Indeed it is. A 2.5 would just not do.

Like the Tiguan in the advert? No but front and rear parking sensors are pretty cool. Plus I can raise and lower it as needed or change the rebound rates from super soft comfort, auto and "sport". The last one just stops it rolling like a barge.

I had a Tiguan for two weeks when my X- Trail had the flu, the Auto parking was nuts
I found myself hunting parking spaces just to keep trying it out

Got to say it did work though

No where near as well as the Scoobs. The Brembos on that with the F1's were awesome. But stopping 2 and a half tonne is harder I guess.
