Default advise needed please

hi got a 1995 sti iam thinking of putting 440 yellow injectors in it what will i need to do if i put them in

hi so i will have to put them in at a garage the have a remap is this right

You'll need adaptors as the yellow 440's are designed for phase 2 engines and not phase 1. Carl davey and I'm sure Zen do adaptors though

And as said you'll need a remap streight after.

Seems pointless to change unless your going for alot more power and need these to surport the power hike.

as above....

It's all about 'balance'

You only need to 'upgrade' something if it is the weak link in the group....

i.e. if the Turbo is out performing the injectors.... then BIGGER injectors it is.... or if the temperature is holding things back then the likelyhood you look at something like a FMIC.....

But a Remap needs to be performed to ensure you are getting the best out of all you bits and bobs

i think it also depends on what engine management unit you have.

is it standard or after market, gems,simtek, motec etc.

if it is standard you cant remap it.
someone correct me if i am wrong.
