I Quit!!
Hi all
It is with great sadness that i resign from my Position as SWS R/O.
This will take affect at the end this month (March) as this will give me time to undo all the good i thought i was doing for SWS and also give the Club chance to find another R/O
A big thanks to all who have helped and supported me before and during my role of R/O.
Julian

"Undo all the good work you thought you were doing" - what a thing to say!

No need to quit Julian, all peeps are asking for is some flexability here... there are more than enough people to generate two meets a month if that's the issue, one weekend and one evening.
As matt has said on another thread everyone can pitch in and help like it's always been and then you can grow onto that with your new ideas etc.
There is no need to change something that works we can simply bolt extra bits onto it and make it even better, again team work makes that a winner.
It's never been an easy position for anyone to step into, just bare with it settle back down and I'm sure things will come together nicely.
Show season starts soon as well, I know there has been discussion about that recently but now everyone know's it is the show organisers that have moved the some goal posts that one has also been put to bed.
Stick with it bud.

I'm glad this has had the desired effect i didn't want you to quit but if thats what it takes to make you see people have a say and they run the forums and the meets that means you have to do things and organise things you may not like but if thats what the masses want.i was a bit harsh but i wont take back what Ive said as it needed saying.i don't like being called illiterate or being threatened but back me into a corner and find out what happens.

Sorry to hear your stepping down Julian, personally I don't thing you need to but I guess its your choice.
Will you be stepping down as SIDC R/O as well?
Now that everyone has aired there point of view and got things off there chest surely all this can be put to bed and we all move on.
If you wish I'm happy to meet up with you and lets see if we can sort this ruddy mess out, thats of course if you want to.

Hi Guys
After long deliberation i have come to the decision that i will be relinqhising my role of SWS R/O.
The main reason for my decision is that my ideas for taking SWS to the next level and onward for the future are far and away from what the founding members of SWS have in mind, i am not havig a dig at anyone here just saying it as i see it, (i suppose it is like a group of men building a great kit car and diving it carefully around the track and then they decide to let someone else have a go and that person drives it like he stole it).I am not saying i abused my role but its how i feel i am perceived.
I think a few other people in the club have the same ideas as me in how the club should be going, be it right or wrong! and this is where unintensionaly 2 groups have been formed.
So for the sake of the club, my decision will stand.
I would be greatful if you would except my apology for any offence caused by any of my comments. I will not apologise for what i tried to do for the club while R/O as i said they were what i concidered to be good going forward for the club.
I hope that anything said by everyone who had an input over the last week can put behind us as show season is upon us and i would like us all to get on as we did before.
Kev i will be staying as R/O for SIDC and will be more than willing to work closely with my successor.
Thank you all
Julian Davies
