when wr1jld first joined this club and we went on our first meet with our family i thought. Hey what a nice bunch of guys. ohh how wrong was i.

 

Right before we go any further lets make one point as clear as crystal shall we.....

Julian you are the regional organiser for the SIDC.

South Wales Scooby's are a different matter, it's a group of people that have got together over time, it's a group that decided to find an identity because other areas of this country have also settle on exactly that... the group we feel have become respected withing the performance car community.

The South Wales Scooby's group is self supporting without supscription put together by team work and it's not run by any one individual, if anyone care's to search my started posts within this section of the forum you will see exhactly that.... democracy.

What people can see are two groups, so let us not spoil that please.

It was convieniant for the two positions to be controlled by the one person, it was accepted by the group at the time.... as it stands now maybe it's time that you controlled your official position and let the un official group carry on in it's democratic way as it has been from the very begining when it was founded.

What a great shame that I have to make this sort of post on an open forum, I for one do realise how many people do drop in this section for a read through.

Why make it personal and keep bringing Kev's name into the discussion.... I don't think he would have ever posted this last week if he had not been aware his name was mentioned.

I'm sorry Si things have gone so far but ju has put alot of effort into this club who i might add is a father of 3 who has a life beyond all this.
From memory no one else put their names forward.
Kev's name was mentioned because, its the name that in my opion has been the leading role before ju took over and people seem to LOVE. Its not personal. I think ju has not been given a chance.
If so many scooby fans wanted to keep things stagnant why did they not speak out at the time when change accured?
He's not trying to run a one man show as some people seem to think he has only the club at heart.
This is obviously not enough.

the sws club is free to join and there seems to be no rules to abide to
so you cant dictate to people as they have the same rights as everyone as else

No he is not a follower but is a good friend, I am sure that Daz wont take it kindly that you have gone all personal and i'm sure he will be only to happy to discuss the matter in person.

I don't understand why you're having a personal dig at everyone, at the end of the day peeps just wanted an evening meet, my aim was always to please the masses and Julian refuses to recognise this, you cant be a R/O based around your own personal needs.

 

Yea, stop dragging me into it all the time, SWS is an open forum where people are free to organise whatever they want.
We have no official membership, no elected members, no rules or Constitution as said its open. All that we ask is that peeps behave themselves at any of the events so as not to tarnish the good reputation built up over the years.

I think Daz was only saying what a lot of people are thinking, agree that the tone might have been a tad strong but Daz calls a spade a spade. Going on the time of night that the posts have been made one or two peeps might have been under the influence of a few shandy's.
