Speedo speed is a different matter to actual, got a radar gun speed of 140 in mine and a GPS reading of similar and speedo over 150 but that was down a runway at work and never repeated on a public road.
I reackon the Typhoon is probably one of the most critisied CAI for powerloss due to heat soak and no air feed etc etc

I know, its actual speed would have been much lower, however the speedo said 160, so thats why the opening posters mate said it did 160

Thats a speed

People claim to do certain speeds when they do not understand speedo tolerances

I can see he typed 160 mph but he doesnt say wether it was reading on the speedo or GPS or radar gun or side by side with a Veyron

When I was based in Germany 2 of my mates had CTR's, they both said they couldn't manage more than 145mph (GPS verified) My STi managed 157mph on the way to the Nurburgring though Was more than happy with that. Autobahn's, gotta love them

Best intake's for the CTR's are the carbon airbox types!

I've certainly never been worried by one, be it in a stright line, round the bends, off the lights or simply motorway driving.

They are one of the nices looking honda's inside and out but it's that stick in a tin can sounds they make that drives me nuts.

Two things

1. He drove at 160 mph...............fecking fool unless it was on a track with a straight about 9 miles long.

2. Obviously when he woke up he had his dinner all over his face.

I squeezed about 147mph out of my mapped and modded Newage WRX saloon in Germany on the Autobahn and was swiftley wooped by a Porsche GTR. Getting to speed was real good as Merv said "autobahn ist schon..........ja ja!"
